  To preempt this review, I would like to say that the building and grounds are gorgeous and excellent for parties and events. It is quite possibly one of the nicest wineries in the area.
  After having said this, the service from the owners was awful, particularly on the ladies side. The lady owner was extremely difficult to work with, missed appointments, was bad at returning calls/ emails, and was not cooperative in the setup process.
  The whole process was frustrating, mainly because we had to work strictly according to their schedule. They were not accommodating whatsoever. If I had to do it over again, and knew all of this, I most likely would have chosen to go elsewhere.
  Amidst all of these difficulties, the owner took and threw away our own private purchased table cloths, tried to eject a guest before our contracted time was up, and gave us extremely limited time to decorate beforehand.
  All in all, I recommend the building, but not the management that accompanies. Unfortunately, they are a package deal, so I wish you luck if you do decide to use them for hosting any future events. Also, be prepared for a certain level of aggravation and possible disappointment.

  We just had our wedding and reception at Spirit knob. Although there were some time constraints, the owners we very flexible with times for setting up and allowed us to use the loft to store and prepare center pieces the friday night before the wedding. It is a beautiful location and the wedding was perfect! The caterers and DJ seemed to work well with Spirit knob and everything went smoothly. Also, the owners were very accommodating as the women that owns Spirit Knob offered and brought me glass of wine before the ceremony (obviously seeing I needed one) even though there were many of my friends and family to cater to me. Great place for a wedding or any event. It's also a great place to visit and see live musicians and enjoy fantastic scenery.
